On October 24th, when Sugar Plum was just 5 days shy of turning 5 months old, we gave her rice cereal for the first time. She sits at the table with us in her high chair while we eat and she smacks her lips like she wants to have what we're eating, so we decided it was time to give her some rice cereal.
Boy, did she take to it. I would give her a spoonful and she would shove her fingers in her mouth and start slurping away. I only mixed about a tablespoon of rice cereal with about 3-4 tablespoons of breast milk, so there wasn't a whole lot but she downed everything in no time!
