Taking the Jeep for a spin...

Sweet Pea got a Dora Jeep for her birthday but after the initial lurch that scared her when she first got in it on her birthday, she hasn't really wanted to get in it a whole lot. And when she does, she absolutely refuses to push the pedal to make it go. So we figured she might come around if someone else drove the Jeep and showed her how much fun it was.

Tina's house is in a new subdivision and there's not a whole lot of traffic in the neighborhood, so we loaded up the Jeep, the bicycle and the tricycle and headed on over to Tina and Kobe's. Sweet Pea is definitely over her fear of the Jeep now!

we started to head over to the neighborhood playground when Kobe and Sweet Pea changed their minds on what they wanted to ride. Kobe decided to drive the Jeep instead of ride his bike and Sweet Pea decided to ride her tricycle instead of her bike

immediately after Kobe got out of the Jeep, Sweet Pea hopped off of the trike and into the Jeep

I was really impressed with how well Sweet Pea did!




she does all sorts of climbing when Michael's not around (the transformation is pretty drastic when Michael's around because "she's his little baby girl and he gets so worried that she'll hurt herself")

we were about 1 house away when Sweet Pea decided she wanted to run, so Tina had a go at driving the Jeep




Kobe then drove it the rest of the way back
