She took her first two steps all on her own last Tuesday. She was standing up on her own while I was sitting behind her and Michael was in front of her. He had his hands held out and asked her if she wanted to "come see Daddy" and she took two steps towards him (which was all she needed to reach his hands). Michael was so funny! He picked her up with this HUGE grin on his face and kept asking me over and over again if I saw how she walked to him. We are VERY proud of our Sweet Pea!
The next day at daycare she didn't reveal her new skill to her teachers at all until I picked her up at the end of the day and asked them if she had been walking. They said that she hadn't and so she showed them that she could, in fact, walk. She walked about 5 or 6 steps for them.
Since then we've been trying to get footage of her walking, but our little Sweet Pea is such a ham. Every time we pull out the video camera, she just wants to plop down and grin for the camera.

We'll try to get better footage of her walking. We may have to somehow camouflage the video camera though!
